Nancy Mladenoff’s art practice incorporates painting, photography and installation. Issues of nature, culture and the environment are the conceptual ideas that drive the work. Recent solo exhibitions include Nature and Other Excuses at the Wendy Cooper Gallery in Chicago, New Photographs at the Cultural Exchange Station in Tabor, Tabor, Czech Republic and Lademoen Kunstnerverksteder, Trondheim, Norway. Group exhibitions include Between the Lakes, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (catalog), Madison, Wisconsin, and Carry On, Feigen Contemporary, New York City. Mladenoff installed a site specific piece for PhotoLA in 2004 and exhibited at the San Francisco International Art Fair in 2004. Her work was included at Preview Berlin and Scope Miami in 2005 and Scope New York in 2006.
