Your gifts to the Art Department are investments in the future of the Department and the lives of the young artists who study here. The UW's comprehensive giving program includes gifts to the Annual Fund, Major Gifts, and Planned Gifts. Each type of gift is important because they all help advance the mission of the Department. Private gifts provide scholarships for deserving undergraduates, enable us to attract the best and brightest graduate students, help us to retain the most talented faculty and staff, and provide support for new initiatives in the arts.

Opportunities to Give...

Art Lofts Graduate Student Support Fund: In honor of the grand opening of the Art Lofts facility (more info) that now houses most graduate student studios, the Department has established a fund to support graduate students and their art. Write out a check for the amount you would like to contribute and make it payable to the University of Wisconsin Foundation. Use the memo portion of your check to identify the specific project within the department which you would like your gift to be applied. It is very important that you complete the memo portion of your check. We want to make sure your gift will be applied to your area of interest. And finally, mail your check to the following address:
